Tiger Lane Info
The centerpiece of the new parking is the green promenade that is 160 feet wide and 1300 feet long, opening up a stunning vista between East Parkway and Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Green Lot 1B and some of Green Lot 1C surrounding the promenade is ours. This is the area where the team will begin its walk to the stadium.
Each space in this area will be equivalent to two parking spaces from our previous years. 10 feet will be for your car or pick up and another 10-12 feet will be the area to set up your tents, chairs, etc. These spaces will be perpendicular to the sidewalk along Tiger Lane. Each space will have an electrical outlet.
You can bring a regular size grill. Containers will be provided for coals by the stadium. Each space will be numbered and assigned to you. It is yours. No one else should park there. Security will police our area. This will be the place to be for pre game atmosphere.
No tents or any other items that need to be staked to the ground will be allowed on the large grass promenade that leads to the stadium. This is in keeping with the City of Memphis rules and regulations. There is a sprinkler system under the ground in that area. Fans can set up blankets and picnic here and kids can run, throw the football, etc.
RVs, Etc.
The Highland Hundred is not able to offer any spaces for RV's. Refer to TheLibertyBowlStadium.com to inquire about availability and cost.
Also, any large cookers cannot be parked along Tiger Lane. Members will have to buy the appropriate number of spaces in Blue Lot 15 or contact the Park Commission for any other suggestions.
